Wave’s school of surfing is a school where I can share all my years of experience and knowledge with the youth of today. It is this experience and knowledge that will give them the confidence to take on any challenge that they may face in the future.

After being in the country for only 8 month my business and i have achieved so much. At the S.A surfing championships i placed 3rd and was also surfer of the event. I am currently coaching 7 of the Springbok junior team and have also been selected as assistant coach to the junior team taking part in the World Surfing Games next year to be held in Ecuador.
I have also been running training camps with these surfers with great success which has lead to a contract with Hurley South Africa. Their team riders are obliged in their contracts to take part in at least 2 training camps a year.
I not only pride myself in coaching some of the best kids in the country but also run a professional service for beginners, intermediate and advanced surfers.
I have based Waves S'cool of surfing in
Mossel Bay, my home town where I learnt to surf.
After finishing school in 1996 i moved to Durban to study
paramedics, this is where my competitive surfing carer started.I achieving top 14 ASP Africa series status in 2000 and then followed my dream to become a professional surfer. Based in the U.K I competed on the WQS for 5 years consistently making the top 100.
Near the end of my international career my focus turned to the British tour where he finished 3rd in 2006 and 2nd in 2007 and was also crowned
U.K Triple Crown champion 2007. During this time i took part in the British surfing Associations coaching scheme where he qualified as a
level 3 coach. I was extensively involved in the development of the British junior team in 2006 and 2007.
After all the traveling, competing and experiences i moved back to Mossel Bay, the perfect place to start a surf school.

climate is the second mildest in the world to Hawaii and it also has the largest variety of surf. We have the main point which has two waves one working on low tide and the other on high tide, The Point picks up any swell starting from 3m range. When the swell gets to big we have options in the bay depending on swell direction and then there is J-bay only 3h20min drive away, making Mossel Bay a good indicator for
J-Bay.
We also have miles and miles of beach to explore which works on different wind and swell direction, basically waves are available to be had everyday 365 days a year, by far one of the most consistent spots on the
garden route.
