Based in the Hossegor/Seignosse area in South West France Boardingmania provides private personalised surf camp services including; airport transfers, private beach front apartments, surfing lessons (beginners) or surf guiding sessions (intermediate to advanced surfers only), surfboard and wetsuit rentals. Great for both beginner and advanced surfers, we cater for groups of friends, couples and families, basically anyone looking for a bit more privacy than can be found in other standard surf camps.
At Boardingmania we provide both all inclusive or tailor made surf holiday packages at amazing prices all year round.

What sets us apart? Private personalised services- it’s just you and your family/friends/partner in your private beach front apartment with private lessons (more instructor attention means the greater your learning curve and greater overall satisfaction) and private transport to and from the airport.

Quality accommodation: Our three self catering flats are all on the seafront next to the sand dunes. You can’t get any closer to the surf. Well furnished and well equipped, they provide an excellent base from which to explore and surf this amazing area at your own pace.

Qualifications: We are run by surfers for surfers. BSA (British Surfing Association) Qualified instructors with SLSGB (Surf Life Saving GB) Beach Lifeguard Qualifications providing a safe and fun environment whether it’s teaching or guiding. Family friendly: We can provide fold away cots, toys and high chair.

Environmentally friendly: All of our cleaning products are ‘Ecover’ products certified to European standards. Our linen is washed using ‘Ecover’ washing liquid. All bulbs are of the energy saving type. The recycling points are only a short walk away from each flat.

Surf and Snow

This winter why not try our unique package…. the only one of it’s kind in Europe! 2.5hrs drive from the surf to the snow allows for you to book from a Saturday to a Saturday with direct flights from over 20 European destinations. And make the most of the week by surfing for 3 days then snowboarding or skiing for 3 days.

Water temperatures never drop below 13 degrees celcious and air temperatures often reach 20 degress in Seignosse over the winter. Despite there proximity to the clement Hossegor coastline the high altitude of the Pyrennees (St. Lary station 1700-2400m) allows any atmospheric humidity to turn into snowfall that sticks and stays. Last March I snowboarded in 1m of fresh powder until 3pm in order to make it down to Seignosse by 17.30 to go for a quick 1.30hr surf before sun fall.. and i was on the beach in t shirt!
