8:30 Start for Round 4 of the Hang Loose Santa Catarina Pro
IMBITUBA, Brazil (Sunday, November 2, 2008) – Round 4 of the Hang Loose Santa Catarina Pro will commence at 8:30am local time. Conditions are currently three foot (one metre) and rainy.
Event officials have yet to make the call as to whether or not the last seven heats of the event will be run after Round 4, but unless the weather clears dramatically, it is unlikely.
The first heat of the day will be an all-Brazilian affair with event wildcard Marco Polo taking on rookie Leonardo Neves.
Taj Burrow (AUS), the No. 1 seed in the event, will take on Miky Picon of France in Heat 4 of Round 4. A decision on whether the event will go into the quarterfinals and beyond will be made at the end of Round 4.
