About Us

Bantham Surfing Academy’s highly experienced and British Surfing Association qualified instructors provide, professional tuition and coaching for beginners through to elite levels in a safe and friendly environment. Bantham Surfing Academy also offer supervised surfing sessions & Kids club.

We are the only surf school to be based at the beautiful, unspoilt Bantham beach near to Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Bigbury.

No time is lost getting to the surf due to our unique location on the beach.

Surfing Lessons

Bantham Surfing Academy offers lessons and courses suitable for all surfing skill levels, from the absolute beginner through to improvement and practice coaching for more experienced surfers.

Ding Repairs

Professional Ding Repairs at affordable prices. We collect and deliver within the South Hams. Please contact us for information and quotes.

Surfboard Hire

Surfboards are available for hire for: 2 hours or all day.

How To Find Us

Heading south on the A38, turn left onto the A3121 (Signposted Ermington, Modbury A37). At Kitterford Cross bear left onto the B3196 (Signposted Loddiswell). At Sorley Green Cross turn right onto the A381 (Signposted Plymouth). At Palegate Cross Roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A379 (Signposted Modbury, Churchstow, Plymouth). At Bantham Cross Roundabout take the 2nd exit to Bantham Beach
