Eyeball Reports

Magicseaweed relies on complex computer predictions to give surfers an idea of what's happening on the beach. However nothing beats the human touch and if you run a local surf shop or surf school (for example) and you'd be prepared to give us a daily update on the local surf conditions it'd be a big help for local surfers and a great way for you to get some free exposure for your business.
Submitting a report is simple. First you need to create an account here:

Once you've done this give us a shout with details of your account name and some background about yourself (which beach you want to run a report for etc). We'll then set your account 'live' for reports. Once this is done simply click the 'Submit Eyeball Report' button on any forecast page to give us some details about your local surf.
Each report you submit will be displayed in the centre of the main forecast page. It'll feature your link, your logo (you can upload your own) and a photo if you submit one.
There's no specific requirement to submit a report daily or at any particular time, although of course a regular morning report is hugely appreciated by our users.
