Bedruthan Steps Hotel is set on the cliff of the Cornish seaside village, Mawgan Porth, which is between Newquay and Padstow. We are a well established family owned hotel, spa and events venue and proud to be a multi award winning business and employer.

For years, Bedruthan has been well known as a family friendly hotel perfect for children and parents alike. Still true to our roots, in recent years we have become just as well known for our commitment to sustainability, innovative events and a beautiful Ocean Spa.

Staying With Us

Staying with us you will discover the comfortable and contemporary style that makes Bedruthan unique.

Our rooms are light, bright and simple to reflect the hotel architecture and beachside setting. Large comfortable beds, soft white towels, armchairs to relax in and all the facilities you would expect to find in an AA four star hotel. These include broadband internet access, ironing and laundering facilities and a 24 hour room and reception service.

Many of our bedrooms boast spectacular views over the Atlantic and with different sizes and types of rooms, we have something suitable for all tastes and size of party. Our hotel rooms are perfect for couples and small families, villas are great for families to spread out in and our luxury apartments are perfect for those wishing to spoil themselves.

The Villas are on the ground floor with direct access to the outdoor children's play area, making them perfect for families. We are serious about food and dining at Bedruthan. Our team of chefs work hard, year round to create exciting dishes that make up modern British classics. Our Buy Local Policy supports our passion for seasonal and local produce which is at the heart of all of our menus.

Breakfast and lunch are time for all the family at Bedruthan. If adults without children would like to be seated separately from families then we will do our best to accomodate them.

Dinner is a time for adults to relax and unwind, watch the sunset together and enjoy exploring the carefully chosen wine list.

We are pleased to offer our guests a Family Dining option for families to enjoy dinner together, with adult and child menu choices available. Please enquire with reservations at the time of booking for more information.

Leisure

Bedruthan has an array of leisure facilities. With tennis courts, a gymnasium, snooker room, table football, table tennis and several swimming pools to keep you entertained; the whole family will be kept busy everyday at Bedruthan.

Get out and about and try something you have always wanted to. Try a surfing lesson with our resident instructor or play a round of golf at one of the nearby courses. There are plenty of opportunities nearby including The Adventure Centre at Lusty Glaze which offers abseiling, rock climbing, a zip wire and coasteering for the adrenalin junkies amongst you. Ten minutes away is also the Extreme Acadamy at Watergate Bay for kite surfing, stand-up paddle boarding and mountain boarding.

Discover the Ocean Spa

We were delighted to present you a new look Ocean Spa and indoor pool in 2008 to enhance every guest's stay.

We updated our popular family pool open to all with large changing rooms, showers, hairdryers and a comfortable seating area. We added an adult only thermal suite which includes an oversized spa pool, sauna, steam, caldarium and relaxation area. With awe inspiring sea views, we know you will be impressed by this facility.

A unique feature and the only one of its kind in Cornwall, is our Hammam. This offers a special place to receive body conditioning treatments whilst the hot stone bed warms your muscles and relaxes the mind.

Our collection of spa therapies has been inspired by nature and includes 100% organic seaweed treatments from VOYA, facial skincare from REN and maternity treatments from Mama Mio. We also have treatments for men, mature and sensitive skins.
