Queensland rained a million swimming pools during the Quik Pro contest. Amid the torrential downpour, the beehive apartments of Coolangatta, the border town, became reverse goldfish bowls.
It became time to reel off the highlights of the days - back in the olden times - when you could still go outside your unit without drowning. And here they are.
