Benone Strand is a beautiful 7 mile stretch of beach which runs from the mouth of the Lough Foyle to the famous Musseneden Temple at Downhill. During big storms the west end of the beach can be very sheltered. There are multiple peaks running down the entire beach with a wave for every type of surfer.
