Typical east coast hype...its always the swell of the century and such...we paddled in at s-turns when we named it,why the tow in??Not one guy with a stand up barrel in what i see.Will not go down with some of the better hurricane swells over the years.
definitely not one of the best hurricane swells to come our way. A lot of hype for closeout big chop. The week after though on saturday was the best surf in carolinas. masonboro was epic, barrels left and right and clean head high and over.
It sure wasn't (the swell of the decade) up here in Nova Scotia. The majority of the swell only lasted a day with a few half decent days on either end. It never really cleaned up here. Next time!
