Located in the heart of Ericeira, The Blue Buddha Hostel allows for easy walking access into the centre of the village or a beautiful stroll to some of Portugal’s famous surf spots and pristine beaches. Ericeira is a delightful old fishing village, which is now one of Portugal’s surfing Mecca. Our Hostels caters for surfers from complete beginners to the most advanced, and you will sure have a love for surfing in no time.

Blue Buddha hostel has 6 rooms with 2/4/8 beds, each one with shared bathroom, 2 of them with a sea view and 1 with a private bath. Our hostel includes lounge areas with Tv and DVD, also free internet throughout the house. Everyone has access to the guest’s kitchen and all its facilities. There is also access to the condominium tennis court (small fee) and swimming pool during summer time (small fee). Blue Buddha is thrilled to accommodate you, and all world travelers, who love experiencing multicultural environments, relaxing in the Portuguese way of life.

Located nicely in te heart of the quiet, ancient village of Ericeira, Blue Buddha New Hostel is walking distance to almost all famous Ericeira surf spots and nice beaches. This Hostel has astonishing sea views and is perfecting for sitting back and relaxing while taking in the picturesque sunsets this lovely west coast has to offer. A short walk through the beautiful cobblestone streets and you are welcomed to shopping facilities, famous restaurants, beaches, bars and also the local nightclub.

Blue Buddha New Hostel has 4 rooms with 2 and 4 beds, each one with shared bathroom. Do not forget - astonishing sea views are offered.

Surf

The Blue Buddha Hostel is in Ericeira, one of the Portuguese Surfing Meccas. Right in front of Matadouro Beach (Slaughterhouse) and one minute to Pedra Branca and Backdoor spots. It will take you 7 minutes walk to arrive Ribeira D'Ilhas. Ericeira is known for its high, barreling waves. Along the coast waves over sand and rock allow all types of surfers find their perfect waves.
