CALIFORNIAN surfer Nathan Yeomans won the O’Neill Cold Water Classic California on a perfect final day of competition at Steamer Lane, Santa Cruz.

Rudely robbing the limelight was the swell of the season. In layman's terms it 'pumped' for the last two days, getting towards multiple's of overhead rarely seen at a Californian contest.

You know those 'all time' days you remember? Ones city folk who come to beach at the weekend never get to see? Well it was one of those for the O'Neil CWC which came up trumps again courtesy of a stonking NW swell.
