Nicaragua is blessed with an abundance of good waves, 330 days of offshore winds, and sunny weather almost all year-round. The surf rarely drops below 2 feet and it can get up to 12 feet from April through October. This Colorado Surf Condo has direct access to two of the best surf spots in Nicaragua.

Hacienda Iguana’s incredibly beautiful white sand beach is over one-mile long with crystal clear water and incredible sunsets. This Resort offers a very unique environment that you won’t find anywhere else in Central America or possibly the world.

Surfing and Golfing aren’t the only attractions. Two rivers boarder both the North and South side of the Resort where you can see abundant wild life, from tropical birds, Iguanas, Sea Turtles nesting their eggs on the beach to Howler monkey’s.

Surf, golf and fishing are epic, and the wind is offshore over 330 days per year! You can relax by the pool and enjoy a good book or take some pictures of surfers, incredible unspoiled beaches and breathtaking sunsets.

The resort has Don Eloy Pizzaria/Bar and Club house offers a breakfast & lunch service. Another option is to walk 40 minutes down the beach to a near by fishing village for fresh caught fish or lobster for lunch. Many restaurants in the area - requiring driving to.

Hacienda Iguana’s nine hole Golf Course is only four years old, is not to be taken for granted, it’s set in a beautiful lush green valley surrounded by mountains and only a short stroll from the Pacific Ocean. It’s a fun and challenging competition length 9-hole course with ladies, men’s and pro-tees on all holes. The greens are immaculate and the course is challenging for any level of player. With its lovely, tiered greens and great layout it’s definitely worth a few rounds during your visit! Special discounts with our Golf Club Membership apply for our renters. THE SURF

Playa Colorado

This is arguably one of the best beach breaks in Nicaragua, if not in Central America. Colorado breaks over sand bars made from the river mouth, and works at all tides, all year. Both left and right barrels, with the left being the most epic on a south swell. It can get funneled into A-Frame peaks groomed to perfection by the constant offshore wind.

Panga Drops

Panga is a deepwater break that breaks over a reef and is a great wave for long boarders. It has a mellow take off, with a faster inside section. When the swell is up it can get big- double/triple overhead can be ridden. Panga gets west and north swells, so you’re guaranteed all year to catch great waves.

To get the latest surf report you literally could just lift yourself up in your bed and take a look out the window at Playa Colorado. You can be the first surfer out if you like and then take a break between sessions for lunch or a siesta. And you will have the sunset session all to yourself when others leave before it gets dark.

ACCOMMODATION

The condo is located on the ground floor at the brand new Villa Rio Dulce Building located directly in front of World Class surf break “Playa Colorado” one of the best breaks in Nicaragua. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a convertible sofa bed, sleeping 4 to 6 people.

This luxury unit is fully equipped and has airconditioning. You can enjoy the lovely patio and the beach club/restaurant and pool are only a few steps away. Beach club has small restaurant serving breakfast & lunch, Infinity pool, volleyball court, showers, kitchen and bathrooms. Enjoy front row seat to view the Playa Colorado surf break from the rocking chair at the Beach Club.

Enjoy the upgraded deluxe furniture package, all made from hard wood crafted in Nicaragua. Also all rooms have A/C, WiFi Internet, Cable/Satellite TV and back-up generator.

The Condo is nicely finished with granite in the kitchen and bathrooms and italian marble floors.

From the condo you have a view on the lovely beach, ocean and putting/cheeping green.

STAYING AT THIS CONDO YOU WILL AVOID: Traveling by boat, sketchy 4 wheel drive on bad roads, following someone else's schedule, getting up very early and walking over 2 miles down to Colorado and no entrance is allowed to the Resort's Private Beach Club and Restaurant and also no stairs or elevators to deal with.

STAYING AT COLORADO SURF CONDO ALLOWS YOU TO: Be at the best spot where the action is and to surf on your own schedule. You can be the 1st surfer out if you like and then take a break between sessions for lunch or a siesta and you will have the sunset session all to yourself when others leave before it gets dark. You will also get to enjoy the Private Beach Club with infinity pool, showers, bathrooms, BBQ, volleyball court and a new Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and cold drinks.
