Arthur expected to become extra-tropical by Friday

Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 25 January, 2007 : - - As of early Thursday, EST, Tropical Cyclone Arthur was centered near 16.2 south and 160 west; moving to the west-northwest of Bora Bora and Tahiti. Winds were sustained at around 70 mph and movement was to the east-southeast. The storm is expected to continue on a southeasterly track and weaken over the next 24-48 hours, finally becoming extratropical by late Friday, EST.
