With mellow waves breaking over a mix of sand and rocks, this remote beach has long been popular with surf schools in the area. Tucked beneath low cliffs, the beach all but disappears on big high tides so dropping tide is better. Scattered rocks to avoid, otherwise it is beginner friendly when it's small to medium swell.

A large Roxy contest put it under the spotlight in 2002, but the rather long walk down from the parking lot still keeps the crowds down.
