The PC-5 fins have exactly the same profile, foil, rake and total area as my usual M-5 fins. With this being the case I have to admit I’m not sure I noticed much difference between them. Having said that, they are definitely a little stiffer than the M-5s and therefore possibly provide a little more drive and speed down the line. I didn’t get to surf them in anything under about 5’ - 6’ and in these conditions they did everything I asked of them and felt sure footed through fast turns. I’m sure they would perform equally as well in smaller conditions.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot to mention that aesthetically they are top, so much so I was reluctant to send them back for other reviewers to try!
