FERGAL'S latest blog entry, one following him throughout the long Irish winter.
As the North Atlantic winter succumbs to spring, the 2009/10 season will go down as bloody cold, but also one which delivered up consistently classic conditions.
"2010 so far has been great!" Said Fergal. "Coldest winter ever, but the waves have made up for it. With thick long period swells groomed by icy offshores it's been a perfect New Year so far.
"I was planning on going away this winter (when the surf went shit) but it never really happened."
ferg is the man, along with tom lowe and micky smith....id like to see the footage those three could come up with from a few other spots..teahupoo, jaws, waimea or if thats to warm for them mavericks...would be sick to see!!

Why paddle if you can tow. All that extra weight trying so stroke into them slabs. Easier said then done... I like watchin them just get shacked, hope they keep the vidoe's coming! Real deal surf, and they don't act like american wankers!
