SWELL, as forecast, hit Haleiwa yesterday allowing the Reef Hawaiian Pro to really kick off. Event one, of the three part Vans Triple Crown needed a decent punch of waves after a really slow start to the season had only allowed one previous day of competition.

Conditions promise to be similar today, perhaps a tad smaller but still contestable. Then the swell drops before hammering in on Sunday and that's when you need to be watching it HERE.
