JORDY Smith, Eric Geiselman, Nat Young, Flynn Novak and Michel Bourez tearing it up at Gas Chambers on Saturday. The swell rose on Sunday and two unknown heroes locked in some solid barrels. But it still failed to please Ryan Moss, our videographer:
"I wanted some big keggers and was pissed that I spent all day swimming and getting my ass kicked at Off The Wall for nothing, then Pipe was s--t because the swell was too north and the sand is f----d. I have spent too much time on the North Shore to want to release crap and have been spoiled over the years. What can I say? It's the perfectionist in me even though I'm far from perfect!"
To the photographer; Sunday had some mass kegs going off if you knew where to look. North Shore isnt all about pipe and off the wall. A spot down the beach was kegging off its head, about 8ft hawaiian, with just a few guys out. It was hit and miss; heaving 5 second stand up barrels, mixed with some close outs. look around next time if you want to score.
