This forecast is using the low resolution swell data that was available on the website before the release of this new version. We feel the newer data set offers a better forecast but this version may be useful to those who built a detailed understanding of the relationship between the old forecast and the wave on the beach or to compare with the new model.

We currently have no reporting wave buoys in this area.

About this Surf Forecast

There is a lava reef 75m off the coast creating a left and right hander plus a left hand point break. The right hander is a short sucky barrel with the left being a fast wall. When it is big if you ride a long board you can connect the left hander with the point break making for probably the longest ride on the Island.
