Further south the number of sandy beaches and reefbreaks increases, but the swell is less consistent. However, the 1km wide beach at Jialeshuei may be Taiwan's most reliable spot for power and clean surf. There's shapely rights near the rivermouth while the lefts are almost always breaking, even in the regular onshores.
