Kina Surf Shop is the result of a 47 year old affair with the ocean. All of our crew are experienced surfers who will help you in the best way to make your vacations unforgettable!! In our shop you can find anything you need for your surfing trip, accesories, surfboards, rentals, clothing, books and if you are a beginner, dont you worry! we will get you the best board that will fit you perfectly.

You can check our lessons programs and reserve online from home, we have excellent surf instructors that teach all levels so you can learn the beautiful experience of surfing and enjoy this tropical paradise at the same time!

Surf School

Kina Stuff are experienced surfers, with a lot of knowledge in the competitive areas as in the teaching ones.
We have 3 types of lesson categories, which will help you no matter your age or surf experience you may have. Our instructors will guide you since the beginning of the lesson with all the information and practice necessary to make your performance the best.

Lessons last 1.5 hours. Start your vacations discovering the world of surfing, come and experience the magic of the ocean!

Beginners

Students will learn the fundamentals of paddling, standing up and general surf etiquite (guidelines) resulting in a fun safe surf experience.

Intermediate

The intermediate surfer is able to go along the open face of the wave and perform basic turns and now needs to move to the next level. You will receive pointers on technique and perfecting your duck dives. Also making sure you are not developing bad habits (movement of shoulders, head, legs...)

Advanced

For the surfer that have plateaued, you will be working in weak points in your style, improving your turns and refining your body position.

Surf Rentals

Why pay for surfboard transportation at the airport if you can surf one of our top of the line rentals?? We have everything you need, fish, quads, longboards, foam, tufflite, everything... We do have the best rentals in all the area, over 36 quality boards at your disposition!! It doesnt matter your surfing level we have a board perfect for you!! If you dont know which one to pick, dont you worry, our staff will help you pick the one that suits you the best!!

Santa Teresa Beach

Santa Teresa is a paradise tropical beach located at Costa Rica. What makes this place such a magical place is its mix of cultures and fascinating nature!! Its one of the most consistent surf breaks in the country and it has excellent conditions for any kind of surfer, point breaks, reefs and beach breaks...

Its tropical temperature oscillates between the 82-95 f. degrees making the weather perfect for you just to wear your bathing suit or boardshorts.
