Kadavu requires an extra flight, adding to an already costly bill but provides crowd-free line-ups and amazing flights in light aircraft. The 45min flight goes over Frigates and lands on a narrow mud airstrip, then, it's a 45min boat ride from Vunisea to Nagigia Island. Nagigia sports amazing underwater scenery and high speed satellite system internet facilities! Surfing on Sunday was only allowed by the village leadership in December 2002. There are several spots within a 5min boat ride. King Kong Left is consistent, sheltered and within paddling distance of land, holding great shape when small and wild tubes over 6-8ft (2-2.5m).
