We are only minutes from some of the finest beaches in the country where you will find first class surfing, body boarding, kite surfing and spectacular costal walks.
The famous Saunton Sands Golf Club with its two 18 hole championship courses is 1.5 miles away. The surrounding area is also excellent for walkers as we are also only two minutes from the South West Coastal Path.
Cyclists are spoilt for choice; the Tarka Trail one minute away, and only a short drive to Exmoor National Park where extensive off road routes can be found. The village of Braunton has a good choice of shops, restaurants, pubs and is less than a ten minute walk away, so there is no need to take the car. If, on the other hand, you are coming to North Devon to relax we have a guest lounge and garden areas where you can enjoy the fantastic view and unwind.
We have plenty of parking and lockable storage for your equipment, so we can safely store your boards, bikes, wet suits and golf trolleys. We also have maintenance equipment if you require it. We can rinse your wet suit and dry it ready for the next day or dry out your walking/golfing/cycling gear to ensure that your stay is comfortable and convenient.
All our rooms are en suite, have fresh quality cotton linens, tea and coffee making facilities, Apple iphone/itouch charging points and alarms, complimentary Wi-Fi and flat screen TV in all rooms.
You can start your day with a choice of breakfasts that will be freshly made from locally sourced ingredients. A take away option is also available.

If you are here to surf we can arrange local board and wet suit hire from Surfed Out Surf Shop, where you will get first class advice and service from Glen and his team. Up to the minute surf reports and ‘surf cam’ views of the local surf breaks will ensure that you make the most of your stay on the North Devon coast.
The prestigious Saunton Sands golf club is two minutes from the house and is set within the Braunton Burrows reserve making it one of the most impressive links courses in the country.
If you need to simply let go and relax the many local walks will please and delight. Take a short stroll through the fields to the front of the house or walk through the sand dunes to the sea.
Half an hour drive away you can explore the Exmoor National Park and the areas of outstanding natural beauty.
The Tarka Trail is a five minute walk away and cycles can be hired at Otter Cycles. Bikes can be booked in advance, so just ask when you book your stay.
The Braunton Burrows are a Site of Special Scientific Interest and has also been designated a Biosphere Reserve by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation.
