Natural reef that protects Las Canteras Beach, but is only rideable on high tide. It's a decent paddle from the shore to reach the hollow peaks. The peak at La Puntilla to the north is closer to shore.

The reef is progressively eroding and sand banks are growing on the lee side, compounded by shoreline development. A plague of urchins have colonized the reef and rocks can pop up. High consistency and crowds.
