Never awesome but always surfable, the Bay of Les Sables remains a good shelter when everything else is maxed or blown out by N winds. Close to the jetty is best at size, while to the south, Tanchet picks-up more swell and less close-outs. Often crowded. Another beach with several peaks but this one requires a rather long walk from La Chaume. Worth it for short, hollow lefts, that get longer and softer depending on the tide, but always better than the rights. Sharp rocks, except on the poor beachbreak.
