Stormrider Guide Local Information

Baie des Trepasses Wave Type: beach break peaksBreaks Over: sandBest Tide: All tidesBest Wind: South Easterly
A good beachbreak with long rides when the conditions are ideal: low tide and a small west swell. The name translates as 'Bay of Death' and is justified by the coldest water temps in Finistere. Check out Ile de Sein where there are some good reefs (ride the boat from Audierne).

Saint TugenWave Type: beach break peaksBreaks Over: sandBest Tide: Low to Mid tideBest Wind: North Easterly
The best beachbreak around in overhead conditions, delivering stand-up barrels at low tide. Faces straight south, so any N wind will do. Follow signs for La Pointe du Raz and turn off near Primelin in la Chapelle St Tugen.
