Location

Thirty minutes east from Lisbon's International Airport and five minutes away from the town of Cascais, we come across a quaint small village called Murches, where the surf camp is located. Close to the "Costa do Estoril" where the weather has a typical Mediterranean climate, mild winters and sunny summers where the temperatures are an invite for all bikini lovers. Here the sunny autumns become spring with its perfect offshores and glassy waves.

The coastline of Costa do Estoril starts at Carcavelos beach, 15 kilometers from the capital Lisboa and goes all the way to Guincho (a 30 minute drive via the Marginal, going through the town of Cascais), which offers you some of the best surf on the planet combining a magical landscape bathed by the waves of the Atlantic Ocean.

Praia de Carcavelos

carca

Is located next to the fort of "São Julião da Barra", and is the homebase of the Surf School “Plano B” (plan b) which is 15 minutes away from the surf camp by car. Its exended beach it is ideal for all surf lovers, from the first time surfers to the advanced professional surfers and the venue for national and international competitions like the World Qualifying Series. Carcavelos' beach break works with all swells.

Praia do Guincho

guincho

Is 5 minutes away from the surf camp and is located at the hillside of the "Serra de Sintra", which overlooks the Atlantic Ocean, combining its golden sand dunes with beautiful vegatation and blue waters. Guincho is found to be famous for its surf due to its swell directions, wind directios and tides. For this for reason it is also a great spot for wind- and kite surfing.
