IT'S been a pretty interesting year in Tassie. Swells have been consistent and of good period, just not XXL like the last few years but delivering us some of the funnest ever paddle sessions at Stern.

So when after a dormant month or so another mid-sized swell popped up on the charts and Gibbo and myself (Marti Paradisis) were frothing for some action. Predicting Stern would be a fun 6-8ft with east winds for a few days but fancying a change of air, the call was made to go west instead and do a bit of searching off the beaten track.
