Excellent, consistent, west-facing beachbreak. Works during most tides and is sheltered from summer NE sea breezes by high cliffs.
Always crowded and very competitive. Some localism. Near the town of Suances. Gets a little busy in summer and at weekends. Parking OK. Good facilities including surf school, surf shops and camping nearby. Slight industrial pollution from the nearby factories at Torrelavega.
