We’re looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join the Magicseaweed team based in the South Devon town of Kingsbridge. This is an ideal role for someone who has a love of surfing and wants to spend their working days with a bunch of ‘surf nuts’.
Start Date: March 2011
Location: MSW Warehouse, Kingsbridge, Devon
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:30am - 5:00pm
Must be open and flexible to possible weekend work.
Salary: Competitive
Job Description:
Assisting the Warehouse Manager with various duties including:
• Receiving, checking and put away all deliveries into the warehouse.
• Picking and packing orders, ensuring they are complete and arrive undamaged.
• Assisting with stock taking as and when required.
• Inputting stock information into the in-house system.
• Ensuring orders are ready and sorted for postal/courier pick ups.
• Ensuring warehouse is kept clean and tidy.
Person Specification:
• Some familiarity with Surf hardware would be useful but not essential.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work quickly.
• This role involves manually lifting and sorting heavy stock so you'll need to be physically able.
• PC literate – this role will involve the use of the MSW order and stock system. Training will be provided but a basic knowledge of PC use is required.
• Ability to work as part of a team and a good sense of humour!
