The break is offshore on a NEasterly although anything from N-SSE is good. At high to mid tide a right hander breaks off a reef at the N end of the bay, at low tide waves break on sand.
On a typical SW swell Manorbier is about half the size of Fresh but a more northerly swell means the difference is often greater, or less for a southerly swell.
Manorbier is a consistent and well-known break surfed regularly throughout the year.
