England and Wales Weekend Outlook Thur 19th November

Magicseaweed Forecaster
Just a continuation of the big swell, big wind theme but with Sunday in particular going off the scale again for the South West, Wales and the Channel. North East looks set to remain without meaningful waves for the weekend and beyond.

This forecast is using the low resolution swell data that was available on the website before the release of this new version. We feel the newer data set offers a better forecast but this version may be useful to those who built a detailed understanding of the relationship between the old forecast and the wave on the beach or to compare with the new model.

About this Surf Forecast

The break is offshore on a NEasterly although anything from N-SSE is good. At high to mid tide a right hander breaks off a reef at the N end of the bay, at low tide waves break on sand. On a typical SW swell Manorbier is about half the size of Fresh but a more northerly swell means the difference is often greater, or less for a southerly swell. Manorbier is a consistent and well-known break surfed regularly throughout the year.
