Monster Energy Pipe Pro off for Monday - Tuesday looks good
Surfersvillage Global Surf News, 5 February, 2007 : - - The Monster Energy Pro, presented by Billabong, is postponed for Monday, February 5, due to a declining swell. The drop in surf is only temporary, with a large swell forecast to arrive for tomorrow. Conditions this-morning were very clean, but only three feet - with the majority of waves focused at Backdoor and even more at Off-the-Wall.
Surfers were happy with the decision to wait for larger surf. The last day of the Monster Energy Pro holding period is this Friday, February 9. Organizers need two full days of competition, or several half days, to complete the event.
