Stormrider Description
Famous, fickle, heavy, big-wave spot. Rarely works as it needs to be perfectly clean and double overhead before it will break clear of the rocks. Rights are safer but the lefts can be good.
Used to be empty until Chris Bertish surfed it huge in 2004 ? now it's mobbed. Big-wave surfers only. Savage rips, nasty rocks and long hold-downs. Park in the Little Fistral car park.
