A visit to the past (27.07.08)
Once again due to the pumping swell that swept the east coast Noosa's beach has drifted north leaving piles of rocks in its path.
Noosa Naked - stripped bare of its sand© 2008 - (c) 2008 Dingo #2The epic southerly swell produced some amazing setups along the east coast including the Noosa points, the goldie and Byron Bay. The swell made its presence on Thursday and is still consistantly producing the good stuf. All though the swell has dropped off a bit, it has cleaned up and hanging round like a bad smell. There are definately beachies worth scoring.
The points at noosa have gone flat, just around the corner at Sunshine there is still plenty of jam packed action goin on.

Unfortunately the Sunshine Coast has not benefited greatly from the southerly swell sweeping the coast. The Beachies have been unusually straight, closing out most of the time. The Noosa points have been bypassed by the current S swell, leaving Granite Bay and T Tree small and humble. However, the swell has pick up a foot on the points and fingers cross for it to build and produce some memorable rides. There is hope on the horizon, rumour of the north shore producing some epic barrels are amongst the sunny coast frothers. Getting to em is the next challenge...
