Huge stretch of decent beachbreaks, best at higher tide. The peaks always seem better just up or down the beach a bit' To the north is Penhale Corner ' a long, walling right peeling off Ligger Point at lower tides. Very open to swell and wind and it can be rippy. Access through the Perran Sands holiday park, long walk down the dunes. Ample facilities, surf shops and parking in Perranporth. The main town beach. Beachbreak peaks better at low tide with the highlight being a long left breaking underneath Droskyn Point if the river has shaped the sandbar. Backwash at high tide. Parking on the cliff above the point. Powerful, beachbreak peaks over a rocky beach. One of the few spots working in big SW swells and winds. Localised and crowded. Small amount of parking by the pub.
