No Active Storms
The W-NW orientation of the coast between Antofagasta and Cabo Jara makes for some good lefthand set-ups. The first wave in Antofagasta, Piedra del Lobo is a classic left holding up to 9ft (2.8m) with rides 100m long. Heavy wipe-outs are not uncommon but rocks are no threat at this spot.
