Stormrider Description

One of the most consistent breaks in the Lisbon zone. This is a very versatile beachbreak with long, but often slow waves at low tide and faster, shorter shorebreaks when the tide starts pushing up. The rocks at the beaches northern end shelter a few rarely ridden rights. Doesn?t like a lot of wind and is busy whenever it's on.

Very clean water.

Local Knowledge

North part of main beach works best on push to high tide......and up the road is pria de macas which is less crowded and a little more sheltered in windy conditions. There does seem to be a lack of surf shops in the area so def bring own wax etc.
