About Punta Sabbioni

Punta Sabbioni is the main spot in the Venice area. The bell-tower of San Marco square is only a few km away. On the north side of the pier breaks a long righthander on big SE and S swells and remains surfable in strong onshore winds. Several other peaks further north along the long beach.

Decent water quality. Not crowded. From Mestre head North to Lido di Jesolo and follow signs (south) to the Cavallino ferry-stop.
