MAKE no mistake 2010 is a marquee year for the top tier of world surfing. The World Tour got a kick up the bum by the spectre of a big money Rebel Tour and the ASP have upped their game. New judging, new talent and a whole new 'One World' ranking system will make for an interesting year. Every event will count before the axe comes down at the season's mid-point.
Most importantly the sand is back at Snapper Rocks and word is that it's as good as it gets. All that is needed now is some swell. The forecast looks promising for a start tomorrow with contestable waves around the shoulder high mark running down the point. Pray for a cyclone later in the week.
