SUNDAY saw the resumption of hostilities at the Quik Pro France after a number of lay days. The swell had settled down from Saturday's gruff peak to a level contestable playing field and it was game on.A little bit of Round 2 and all of round Round 3 of the went down. Contest director Micky Picon has been careful to only put the surfers out in the best available conditions. To this end he called the comp off for the arvo when the onshore whipped up, taking a break for King of the Groms and kicking on again after the onshore died back. Crowds jostled at the water line till last light waiting for Tiago Pires and Owen Wright to close the day -- Europe lost.
