Ghost House: Things can get real freaky here and not just in the water. The spot where this shot was taken is outside a haunted, two-storey blue house.
The ghosts of "The Night Marchers" are said to walk through this particular house and surrounding yard at night: spirits of an ancient Hawaiian army that makes its way to the Rockys outcrop from the valley adjacent.
Those who've stayed there (the Quiksilver team for a chunk of the last decade) will attest to some very odd goings on in a room on the ground floor; a paralysing encounter Shane Powell had with a ghoul is retold to this day, and Matt Hoy once recounted the story of a thief who broke in, became paralysed, and passed out on the spot.
True stories. The brazilian illegal camp was raided years ago, and guess what.. less crime, less crowds. The downside is, the Church of Rastafari was also torn down. I love praising Jah before a session!
