C-SKINS Wetsuits is stoked to announce the signing of Russell Winter in an exclusive deal that will see the British legend wearing C-SKINS Wetsuits well into the future.

Russ is without doubt one of the UK’s most successful competitive surfers and he will continue to be a key player in the development of the sport within the UK long into the future. The highlight of Russell’s career so far was gaining a place on the ASP World Tour which is a real feat for any professional surfer.

During Russell’s career he’s been the English, British and European surfing champion. He was the first European surfer to qualify for the prestigious WCT tour, where 45 of the world's best surfers compete in some of the world's premier surfing destinations. Russell was on the tour for three years, famously beating Kelly Slater in a first round heat at Sunset Beach, Hawaii, and coming third in the Nova Schin Event in Santa Catarina, Brazil.
Winter’s current focus is still on the WQS and the BPSA events but he has also developed his own school for performance surf coaching http:// www.russellwintersurfcoaching.co.uk based in Newquay. Russell will be helping surfers of all ages and abilities to fast track their surfing to a higher level.

For Russell the decision to talk to Carey Brown (C-SKINS Founder) about a sponsorship deal was a no brainer. Carey at his previous company Gul signed Russ at the age of 12 when Russ was a hungry to win grom just starting out.
Russell has already been seen in the waters around the UK in his new C-SKINS Team Suit and he has remarked how much his new C-SKINS wetsuit enhances his performance and his core body temperature. C-SKINS is a young, innovative wetsuit company that’s setting a new benchmark of performance orientated purely to the surfer.

Over this past weekend at the 5* WQS Boardmasters event in Newquay Russ was the most successful British Surfer reaching the semi finals.
