TWO members of one of Britian's best current surfing families, the Skinners, have just opened up a surf school to help pass on some of their years of surfing experience.

Ben 'Skindog' Skinner and younger sister Sophie have opened Skindog Surf School just outside Newquay.

Ben said: "I feel very lucky to have been given so much from surfing that I feel this is my opportunity to give something back to the sport I love so much. From this school I want people to come away with the love for surfing we all have!"

And sister Sophie adds: "Seeing people catch their first waves and standing up all the way to the beach. That's why I love my job so much.

"Surfing has always been a part of our lives. I really get a buzz from seeing people catch their first waves and standing up all the way to the beach."
