Whasson and where?

Sennen Surf Club will be holding its first meeting of the year at Sennen church village hall at 7.00pm Tuesday, 27th Jan. All local surfers are invited to attend and it is hoped that this will see the start of many social activities and surf events. This is an opportunity to meet those that are currently involved with the club and also to help shape what happens in the future.

and why?

Sometimes as surfers we don't get the chance to catch up properly in the water. We say hello and often start conversations that end up cut short by an approaching wave or a big set. Sennen Surf Club will therefore provide a focal point for all locals to get together. It will also provide a forum to discuss any problems that you may be experiencing in the water or if you have any issues with the way in which the beach is run.

The club hopes to enable:
"Safe and successful surfing for all in our surfing community - respect for the surfline, the shoreline, the coastline and the surfers of our community."

	The club is open to anyone and not just the more traditional surfers - ideally it should be representative of the surfing community. Come along and help it to be something that you would like to be part of.

	so un-stoked by this. the soul patrol are just going to dominate it, even though they only surf beach cafe and never when its larger than one foot on the face. and we all know that spongers will get lynched immediately so whats the point? this is basically a soul patrol meeting for those who will only surf in the summer.
