[PT-Connor Mower's Review]
Connor Mower
Well, I've only been surfing for about a year and a half now, and I mainly surf at westward ho! in North Devon as its the easiest option for me, I'm also part of the surf club down there. I usually surf my 8'6 Minimal, which is actually a really nice board to ride. I surf often, which means I improved pretty quickly, and I'm now a fairly confident surfer, moving onto more advanced stuff.

Seven Stops, 5 mates on what the average surfer would call a dream trip, which most could only dream of.

The film features many great surfing destinations around the world, and this is one of the things that really caught my eye about this film. A lot of films get drawn into the trap of focusing on one area, or one type of wave, this film however showed a variety of wave types and spots, and put them into one.

As well as this, because these guys were on a trip, you didn't just see the perfect waves that you usually see from this kind of film, you got a chance to see slightly smaller waves. But this didn't make it any less entertaining, with huge names in surfing such as, Alan Stokes, Andy Irons, Kelly Slater, and many more, in different places around the globe.

The editing all the way through was also top class, and the little clips of the guys just having fun along the way, really made you feel like you were there on the trip with them.

Another part of this film that I like, is the sort of local surfers talking about the area they surf in, discussing different breaks around, and where the best places to catch some waves are. This felt like you just stopped and asked for directions on your trip, which also made you feel like you were on this trip.

There is also some killer tunes in this film, although I would of like to of seen the names of the songs playing at the bottom of the screen like some films have done previously.

This is definitely worth a watch, it brings you closer to the trip than any other surf film similar to this one, integrating high quality surfing, awesome waves, kickin' tunes, and superb editing, brilliant!
