Local Knowledge
Owned and managed by the Nature Conservancy, the most natural setting outside of the Cape Cod in the NE. Has estuarine marshes that occassionally break barrier and provide new sediment, but offshore canyon quickly sweeps it away. Breaks are cobblestone loss and provide consistency (when swell available); most hurricane blocked by islands of Cape Cod Sound. Private property hinders access along most of adjacent shoreline.
