Ready to launch the ski?

Somewhere under all that water is the launch ramp to Jaws and it's the biggest swell of the season.

It got pretty damn busy on Monday, Jan 11th, with tow teams buzzing around like flies in very real danger of being swatted.

Have to say far more impressed with the two guys paddling in on the link, than I was by any of the tow in shots. Tow in is fast becoming a bit routine/boring as soon as a big swell arrives. It's good that its has broken the ground a places like Jaws but now people know it's possible to padddle why tow in.

A wipeout at Jaws, from what ive heard, is a big problem. The motherload of power. Blown eardrums, broken legs, minute hold downs. Fun times.
