A night of surf films, fun, prize draw and more for the Precious Lives appeal raised £450.
This night was organised by young surfer Louis Mavor aged 14 who has helped fund raise at various Precious Lives events in memory of Joe Way.
Louis said “It was a great night and thanks to all the people that donated, came and gave raffle prizes”
Matt (Joes Dad) and Joe’s sister Megan aged & who is now a keen surfer went along Matt said whilst talking to audience about Joe and the Hospice “what a great idea surf films on a big screen, skinners ale and a relaxed vibe perfect blue print for a fund raiser”
Minnow Green who ran the raffle on the night said “Great idea and the power three movie makes you proud to be British”
Steve Havers from the St Agnes film club who organised the films and running order Said “it was such good fun we may run a surf movie night each month”
Louis would like to thank the St Agnes film club, Skinners, Josh Ward, Aggie surf shop and the locals who stayed on to help tidy up at the end.
