BY all accounts Santa has been caught surfing the North Coast of Cornwall in the UK. Home to a series of above average beachbreaks and a few more interesting secrets.
One suspects that global warming has allowed the surf to pump year round not far from his Lapland retreat and upon catching the bug Santa embarked on a southern bound road-trip.
Knowing how much surf takes over your life you have to wonder if the surf is pumping in the run-up to the big day will Christmas happen this year? Just imagine the headlines...

When I was a kid in Hermosa beach in the mid 70's, there was an older surfer that looked like santa (big belly, white ZZtop beard). Every winter, he would start wearing a red wetsuit, it was his winter suit.
We never asked him if he did it as a Xmas joke, but as a 10 year old kid it
was great. And yes, he could surf.
